Vatican explains how relics from Padre Pio will be transferred to Rome
The remains of St. Pio and St. Leopold, two Capuchin Confessors, are transferred to the Vatican at the request of Pope Francis. Traditionally the Capuchins have always emphasised the importance of the Sacrament of Reconciliation and hearing Confessions is a ministry very much emphasised and practiced by the Capuchins.
